Who We Are
We help California homeowners and facilities get basketball, tennis, pickleball, and multi-sport courts built by arranging local contractors who handle everything from site assessment to final inspection.
We help California homeowners, schools, and community facilities get sports courts built. Whether you're adding a backyard court for family recreation, converting an aging asphalt court, or building a new multi-sport facility, we arrange local contractors who handle design, permitting, and installation.
We review every enquiry to understand what you need—court size, surface type, sports you want to play, and site conditions like drainage and existing concrete pads. Then we arrange a local contractor experienced in that type of work to assess your site and provide a clear estimate.
Submit your enquiry. Tell us about your space, what sports you want to play, and any site challenges like tight backyard footprints or existing concrete pads.
We review the scope. We look at what's involved—whether you need modular tiles, acrylic coating, or a concrete base—and what components like basketball hoops, net posts, or fencing are required.
We arrange a local contractor. You'll be connected with a contractor experienced in the type of court you need, familiar with California permitting, and able to handle site assessment and drainage evaluation.
Site assessment and estimate. The contractor visits your property, evaluates drainage, measures the space, and provides a written estimate covering surface type, base prep, and installation.
Design and installation. Once you approve the estimate, the contractor handles permitting, custom layout, and installation. We follow up to confirm the work meets your expectations.
Every enquiry is reviewed to match you with a contractor experienced in the surface type and property context you need. We consider whether the contractor has handled similar projects—residential backyards, school grounds, or HOA properties—and whether they're familiar with California codes.
Quality expectations include experience with design-build processes, surface overlay techniques, and custom layouts. Standard practice includes site assessment and drainage evaluation where relevant. This addresses concerns like whether the court will hold up to regular use, whether installation will disrupt your yard for months, and whether the surface will crack in local weather.
We do not guarantee specific timelines, warranties, or maintenance outcomes. Those details are agreed directly between you and the contractor.
We cover California, serving residential backyards, school grounds, community facilities, and HOA properties. Common situations include homeowners adding courts for family recreation, schools needing courts for athletics programs, and property owners converting unused yard areas or aging asphalt courts.
Enquiries are typically reviewed within one business day during normal business hours.
Sports Court Installers does not perform on-site work. We coordinate with independent contractors who design and install sports courts. These contractors operate their own businesses, set their own rates, and are responsible for the quality of their work.
Independent contractors are experienced in techniques like design-build processes, surface overlay, and custom layout, and able to perform site assessments and drainage evaluations. We consider decision criteria like experience with similar property types, familiarity with California permitting, and ability to handle components like basketball hoops, net posts, court lines, fencing, and lighting when coordinating.
We may earn a referral fee when you hire a contractor through our service. This does not affect the price you pay.
We exist to make sports court installation straightforward for California property owners by arranging experienced local contractors who build courts that last.
